This course provides essential training on respirable crystalline silica exposure in construction environments. Aligned with OSHA’s Respirable Crystalline Silica Standard for Construction (29 CFR 1926.1153), it covers silica hazards, exposure controls, PPE, Table 1 tasks, and medical surveillance requirements.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
Define what respirable crystalline silica is and where it’s found
Understand the health risks of silica exposure
Recognize tasks that generate silica dust
Apply control methods outlined in OSHA Table 1
Use appropriate PPE and comply with medical surveillance requirements
